Mr. Sanjivv Kapur
Mr. Sanjivv Kapur, the Founder of SAI Group, is a graduate of the University of Delhi and a visionary entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. He began his career in 1988 as a trainee in the auto components sector, where he developed a deep understanding of the industry and discovered his passion for automobiles.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and inspired by his family’s business background, he founded his own auto components trading business in 1990, laying the foundation for what would become SAI Group.
A Journey of Growth and Excellence
Mr. Kapur started his entrepreneurial journey with a single retail outlet in Naiwala, Karol Bagh—India’s renowned auto parts market. Through unwavering dedication, customer-centric values, and relentless hard work, he transformed the business into one of the most successful outlets in the region, achieving the distinction of becoming the leading sales outlet among more than 5,000 auto component shops within just five years.
In 1993, he established a nationwide distribution network spanning from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Over the next decade, with the support of a strong team of more than 250 associates, he built one of India’s most successful automotive distribution networks. By 2000, SAI Group had emerged as a market leader among more than 100,000 auto component retailers across the country.
Under his leadership, the company’s distributor partners consistently achieved leadership positions in their respective territories, reflecting his commitment to building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. This remarkable journey of sustained growth and excellence continued for over two decades, with the business expanding significantly in scale, reach, and reputation.
